From a babe, you’ve spent your time in your mother’s home
Growing and learning; there to hone
Your skills and understanding gain.
Knowing you would be born again.
As a caterpillar morphed to a butterfly,
Earth’s no longer home, but now the sky.
No more mother’s apron string, for now you have your own.
Decisions you shall make, and consequences bear alone.
You’re from childhood to adulthood birthed.
So take to the heavens and rule the earth.
