Once upon a time, in a land quite absurd,
A wordsmith embarked on a journey, undeterred.
With a lexicon vast and a mind ever keen,
He sought to find meaning in all that was seen.
Ergo, he began with a rather odd quest,
To use words so uncommon, it was a bequest.
His friends found it strange, but he was quite thrilled,
For a challenge like this, his heart was fulfilled.
First, he met a man who seemed willfully blind,
To the world's many colors, he paid no mind.
The wordsmith, hence, taught him to truly see,
Life's vivid tapestry, so rich and carefree.
Next, he encountered a vicarious soul,
Living through others, as if in a hole.
He urged her to step out, to dance in the rain,
To live her own life and eschew the pain.
He chanced upon a lad, whose choices were rather,
Too safe, too mundane, a cautious feather.
"Take risks," he advised, "and find what's sublime,
For life is too short to waste precious time.
"He spoke with a scholar who indubitably thought,
His wisdom supreme, his intellect hot.
Yet he was closed off to what others might say,
The wordsmith reminded him to humbly find his way.
A lady he met, was ostensibly kind,
But deep down, her intentions were quite maligned.
He beseeched her to soften, to embrace love's light,
And in this kindness, she found true delight.
A taciturn lad was next in his sight,
Seldom speaking, he hid from the light.
"Share your voice," he insisted, "with words rich and deep,
For within your silence, great stories sleep.
"Presumptively, he then came across,
A boy who would judge and often gloss
Over the beauty in those he'd meet,
A lesson in grace was offered, so sweet.
Diametrically opposed were two stubborn souls,
Each one's opinion set in a rigid mold.
He showed them the beauty of differing views,
And how to find balance in life's many hues.
There was one who would invariably find,
A reason to fuss, to leave joy behind.
The wordsmith advised, "Be grateful each day,
For life is a gift, in every which way.
"Lastly, he chanced upon a tangentially-prone lass,
Who would stray from her path, lost in the vast.
"Stay true to yourself," he gently professed,
"And in your heart, you will find your life's quest.
"Through this adventure, with words as his guide,
He helped others find wisdom from deep inside.
And so, our wordsmith, a hero unsung,
Serves as a reminder, in this tale spun.
