[Verse 1]
Can you say no?
No to the glitter, no to the crown,
No to the chains that weigh you down?
I knew the cost—oh yes, I knew,
The price of selling what's pure and true.
You can’t buy me, no gold, no lies,
Some crowns are heavy, they disguise.
Men who bow, who kneel, who fall,
Lose their voice, their soul, their all.
[Chorus]
Walk with courage, lift your eyes,
Let your conscience, bold, arise.
Do you know what you carry inside?
A nation's hope, its sacred pride.
[Verse 2]
Castrated minds, silenced cries,
Chasing shadows, living lies.
They cut their conscience, dimmed the light,
Loyal to power, lost in the fight.
Representatives, hear this plea,
Step with honor, let truth be free.
The presidency—oh, feel its weight,
It is no game; it shapes our fate.
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Black people, hear the call,
Our forefathers’ chains still haunt us all.
But now we stand, with liberty’s light,
Will we be tricked, or will we fight?
Money deceives, submission binds,
But freedom lives in steadfast minds.
Hold your ground, don’t let it slip,
Truth is stronger than a silver grip.
[Outro]
Can you say no? Stand tall, be brave,
The soul of a people, we must save.
With heads held high, our voices ring,
A song of honor, let freedom sing.
